School Hours.
Following an early School Assembly at 7.45a.m. prompt, , teaching commences at 8.00 a.m. and ends at:
12.30 p.m. Monday to Friday Play Group to Nursery 1.
3.00 p.m. Monday to Thursday Nursery 2 to Primary 6.
3:00 p.m. Monday to Thursday - JSS 1 to JSS 3
All classes close at 1:00pm on Fridays.
Rules and Regulations
It is a condition of acceptance of the offer of a place in the school to abide by all rules and regulations of the school prescribed hereunder and others that may come in force from time to time.
High standards of behaviour are expected at all times and pupils/students are expected to follow the Code of Conduct at all times. An example of the Code of Conduct is here for you to see: (see Primary Code of Conduct)
The school reserves the right to administer any disciplinary action in the event of any infringement of the school rules and regulations. Parents/Guardians will be informed and involved as appropriate.
Punctuality to School
We believe that puntuality is an important part of our daily routine and we do not like to see your pupils/students missing valuable learning time at the start of the day. School commences at 7:30 a.m., with an assembly from 7:45 a.m. and lessons starts at 8:00 a.m. We appeal to our parents/guardians to ensure that their children/wards arrive in school on time each day. The school reserves the right to close the school gates at 8.30a.m. and not admit pupils/students after that time.
Dropping off and picking up of children from school Premises
The road traffic authorities insist that the high way must at all times be free of obstruction from cars to traffic particularly when parents are either dropping or picking up their children from school.
Cars may therefore not be parked on the highway.
Collection of children after school hours
Parents and guardians are expected to collect their children/wards punctually at the end of school hours. Parents/Guardians who cannot collect their children/wards by 3.30p.m. should inform the school and a charge of up to N15,000 per term will be made for the school to supervise them.
Pupils/students are encouraged to bring their own food to school to be eaten during the two break times.
In addition to this, a light pastry shop is operated by the school to control the quality of food available to the children. A selection of drinks is also available. Purchases can however only be made with vouchers obtainable by parents/guardians from the Accounts Office.
