JSCE Examination Results 2009
The first cohort of students in JSS3 was entered for the NECO and ERC Junior Secondary School Examinations (JSCE) in 2009. The headlines include:
NECO:
i. The two highest achieving students achieved fifteen Distinctions and six Credits between them.
ERC:
i. The two highest achieving students achieved nineteen Distinctions and four Credits between them.
ii. 100% pass rate in the Electives, with 88% of the students achieving a Distinction in all the Electives taken.
JSCE Examination Results 2010

ii. The two highest achieving students attained eleven Distinctions and ten credits between them.

- Olumawu was rated the third overall best in the country in the National Common Entrance Examination.
2003
- Olumawu was rated one of the best two private Primary School in the Federal Capital Territory by the Department of Education of the Ministry of Federal Capital Territory.

- Entrance Examination Nigerian/Turkish International School – three out of the best four children came from Olumawu Basic Education School.

- Certificate of Merit - National Competitive Examination awarded to five winners by the National Mathematical Centre.

- 1st position – Entrance Examination to Loyola College, Abuja – the pupil was Sekinah Badamasuiy.
2004
- 1st position - Entrance Examination to El-Amin International School, Niger State – the pupil was Usman Ndagi Emmanuel.
2005
- Merit Award - The Second Mathematics Competition for Primary 5 and Primary 6 organised by Nigerian International Colleges and National Mathematics Centre.
- Outstanding Performance Zonal Essay Competition Eco Bank Essay Award – the pupils were Margaret Bassey and Ejeme Omokhuale.
2006
- 3rd position - National Competitive Mathematics Examination at the Transcorp Hilton, February 17th 2006 – the pupil was Amira Musa.
- Merit Award - The Third Mathematics Competition for Primary 5 and Primary 6 organised by Nigerian International Colleges and National Mathematics Centre.
2007
- Merit Award - The Fourth Mathematics Competition for Primary 5 and Primary 6 organised by Nigerian International Colleges and National Mathematics Centre.
2008
- Nyore Ogedegbe emerged overall best in Nigeria in the UNESCO Special Science, Introductory Technology and Mathematics Quiz Competition.
2009
- 2nd position – WOTCLEF Essay Writing Competition (Primary Section) January 28th 2009 – the pupil was Dalton Owoh.
- 3rd position - Nigerian Turkish International School/National Mathematical Centre 6th Annual Competition (Zonal Final) February 28th 2009 – the pupil was Arinze Owoh.
- Merit Award - Nigerian Turkish International School/National Mathematical Centre 6th Annual Competition (National Final) March 7th 2009 – the pupil was Arinze Owoh.
- Highly Commended – 2009 Commonwealth Essay Competition - the student was Maryam Gambo.
