Continuous Assessment

Continuous Assessment is an integral part of teaching and lies at the heart of promoting students’ learning. Our policy aims to:

1. evaluate achievement and monitor progress on a regular basis
2. enable students to demonstrate what they know, understand and can do in their work
3. help students understand what they need to do next to improve their work
4. provide regular information for parents/guardians that enables them to support their children’s/wards’ learning

It is based on class work both written and oral, practical projects, homework, research, practical work as relevant  to the subject, debates, regular tests (CATs)  and terminal  examinations.
