Academic Programme

The Curriculum takes account of the National Policy on Education and offers students the opportunity to specialise in the Science, Arts or Commercial field. Each student will follow the core curriculum and then select additional subjects based on his/her area of specialisation.
Students will be prepared for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) and the National Examination Council (NECO) both of which are examined in SS3.
From September 2012, the College will also offer the Cambridge IGCSE programme (International General Certificate of Secondary Education). As the Cambridge IGCSE is compatible with other curricula, internationally relevant and sensitive to different needs and cultures, the courses will be offered alongside the Nigerian Curriculum meaning that students will be prepared for WASSCE, NECO (optional) and IGCSE.
