Admission
Eligibility
Admission is open to all classes subject of course to availability of space as the maximum population per class is limited to 24 pupils.
Application forms are available from the school office and a placement test is normally conducted to ensure that the child is indeed able to cope with the class for which admission is sought.
An entrance examination is conducted in March/June for pupils wishing to entrance JSS1 from other schools. Our primary six pupils wishing to continue the last leg of their basic education programme are not required to take any examination. Progression to JSS1 is automatic, subject of course to their performance in their sessional examinations.
Parents should be reminded that their children/wards will be able to transfer from primary 5 to JSS1 if they become eleven by March 31st of the year of admission provided that they:
Pass the school Entrance Examination and subsequent interview
have a good command of written and spoken English
are sufficiently mature to cope with the demands of the JSS curriculum
have performed well academically throughout Primary 4 and primary 5 taking into consideration class work, CATs scores and end of term examination results.

To sit the examination, an Application Form must be completed and signed by a parent or legal guardian of the candidate. Forms are available from the school office for N5,000.00. Alternatively, the form may be down loaded from below for N5,000.00.
Completed forms should be returned to the Admissions officer in the school office on or before the date set for the examination.
